Product leader with 12+ years in technology and 6+ years owning product end to end. I have taken products from zero to first revenue inside a corporate venture studio, founded and ran a venture as General Manager with full P&L and a 15-person organization, and today lead technology and product for a five-product media portfolio at FIFA across the two largest tournaments in the organization's history. Computer Science background, so I build with engineers rather than around them: I prototype with AI coding tools, validate with real users, and defend decisions with unit economics. I teach innovation and product management at university level and mentor product people across five continents.

Product Portfolio Manager & Technology Lead, Media Operations
Dec 2024 — PresentFIFA (via Globant) · Madrid, ES (Montevideo until Sep 2025)Lead product and technology for FIFA's Media Operations portfolio — five products serving accredited journalists, photographers and broadcasters — through the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 and the FIFA World Cup 2026, the two largest tournaments in FIFA's history.
- Delivered the FIFA Media App and Media Hub as the primary working tools of the tournament: 91% of accredited media rated the app useful or extremely useful, 76% used it multiple times a day, and 69% named it the FIFA channel they relied on most — 3x the next channel.
- Sustained a 97% engagement rate and 50% DAU/WAU stickiness across the 40-day tournament with 12.6K accredited media users, against a 55–70% benchmark for consumer apps.
- Own FIFA's media department annual technology envelope end to end (budget governance, forecasting and monthly executive business reviews), landing the year 27% under the original approved plan with no cut to tournament scope.
- Manage strategic vendors and systems integrators across contract negotiation, SOW scoping, performance tracking and offboarding.

Senior Product Manager
Jul 2024 — Dec 2024SEVEN, Saudi Entertainment Ventures (via Globant) · Montevideo, UYUnblocked a stalled engagement: led discovery and product definition for the guest-facing digital experience of a sovereign-fund entertainment developer building theme-park complexes across five cities.
- Moved a team that could not advance to a client sign-off architecture, handed to delivery in six months.
- Defined the information architecture for a multi-destination portfolio mapped to a seven-stage guest journey, benchmarked against the highest-performing theme-park sites, and authored the outcome-based measurement framework (engagement, conversion, revenue per guest).
- Specified a generative-AI host to solve the category's core failure mode — guests unable to find pricing or park maps — with a phased LLM roadmap, acceptance criteria and accessibility requirements built in.

General Manager & Head of Product
Feb 2023 — May 2024Stealth-mode venture (Globant X) · Montevideo, UYFounded and ran a two-sided B2B talent marketplace end to end, leading 15 people across product, engineering, design, marketing, sales, legal and operations.
- Modelled the P&L and unit economics, set the pricing architecture, incorporated the US entity, secured trademark registration, and stood up payroll, tax and compliance operations for cross-border contractor hiring.
- Went from concept to launch in six months on a trust-differentiated platform: semantic AI talent search, employer-sponsored vetting, on-chain reputation and crypto payment rails. Invite-to-signup converted at 15% vs a 10% model assumption; 80% of registered talent completed onboarding.
- Closed the first end-to-end transaction within five months of launch — client, hire, contract, payment and compliance all executing in production — including a signed agreement with a Fortune 500 company.
- Diagnosed the demand-side stall rather than defending it: isolated six root causes from buyer objections, quantified the pricing gap against incumbents, and produced a repricing plan removing the double-charge structure buyers rejected.

Revenue tripled the next year, the platform reached a media group with 50M+ monthly users (release validation cut from six weeks to 35 minutes), and it earned recognition in Forrester's Modern Application Development Wave.
